For more than two decades, the VA’s Remote Patient Monitoring – Home Telehealth (RPM‑HT) program has supported roughly 70,000 Veterans, but many use it only briefly - typically for 4–6 months, and often later in life.
As demand grows, so do the challenges: an aging Veteran population, a nationwide shortage of care coordinators, and outdated technology. To scale to 2 million+ Veterans, we need a fundamentally different model. The future lies in AI engagement, hands-free biometric capture, and intuitive monitoring not with legacy technology and wired devices that are difficult to maintain and troubleshoot.
Our Solution: VetConnect First
VetConnect First is Life365’s answer to this problem. It’s designed to work for Veterans no matter their tech comfort level or geographic location:

Cellular-embedded devices - no pairing, no app downloads, no Wi-Fi required.

Cellular hubs + Bluetooth peripherals, with Wi‑Fi fallback if necessary.

For those in very remote areas, Starlink satellite connectivity ensures continuous access.

A web portal gives Veterans and their care teams real-time visibility into health data.
Our Goal: Scaling at Population Level
Our goal is simple: to make it easier for Veterans to stay healthy, independent, and connected to care - no matter where they live. By expanding access to virtual care and remote monitoring tools, we can help Veterans stay in their homes longer, maintain their independence, and receive more convenient, continuous support without unnecessary clinic visits.
This approach also allows for proactive care management, giving care teams real-time insights so they can intervene earlier, adjust treatment plans faster, and prevent avoidable complications. Ultimately, it’s about meeting Veterans where they are and providing them with care that fits their lives - not the other way around.
